We scour the Internet every week looking for the very best content for our readers that will help them develop profitable habits--and we're not just talking about money. We try to share world wide web wisdom that will help you get profitable emotionally, mentally and personally.

The goal? Find everything we can to help you build a profitable business that will change the world, and your sphere of influence.  As we dig, we inevitably run across video, pictures or blog posts that are life-changing.

Each Tuesday, we give out awards to our favorites.

THIS WEEK'S WINNER IS...

Good Life Project : The Paradox of Change

Our favorite soundbite from this inspiring clip:

Nobody wants to own the actions it will take to get there...Everybody wants to own the result but nobody wants to own the process.

And the Runners-Up Are:

#1 - Heidi Roizen : 8 Rare Gems on Building a Fulfilling Life & Career

Heidi Roizen co-founded and led T/Maker as CEO until it was acquired by Deluxe Corporation. She then joined Apple as VP of Worldwide Developer Relations. She has been an investor for over a decade.

Roizen really does pass out 8 gems of advice. You can read the full article here.

  1. If you’re not doing something hard, you’re wasting your time.
  2. Your ethics set the tone for your life.
  3. Your gut has more information than you do.
  4. Picking your team is the most important thing you will ever do.
  5. The art of negotiation is finding the optimal intersection of mutual need.
  6. Life is actually really, really random.
  7. Get good at using your time.
  8. The 20-40-60 Rule.

#2 - Inc.com : Why You Need To Take a Vacation

This article has a list of convincing reasons why taking a vacation is good for business.

Our favorite reason to take a vactaion:

It's during time away that you see how well your company runs. If you find your company really can't survive without you, you don't have a company, and you need to spend time empowering others, establishing better systems, and creating accountability. Time away makes you a better leader. You need a break to read a book or to just "think." My time away has resulted in the greatest breakthroughs for me personally and for my company. Instead of thinking it is important to be at your company every day, you need to realize it's just as important to take some time away. - Eric Holtzclaw

#3 - Minda Zetlin : 3 Questions That Motivate Any Employee

Watch this Inc.com video with Minda Zetlin to here more about why these 3 questions will help productivity in your office.

  1. Why Are You Here?
  2. What do you want that my organization can give you?
  3. Can I let you own your project?
